So then, to narrow it down again...If Vlad is taken 3rd, do I go with Tejada or Arod?

I'd take A-Rod over Tejada any day......

Any reason why? I dont see much of a difference except in steals...Plus, SS has much less depth compared to 3B

If Vlad is gone, go with Arod. I know SS is more scarce, but Arod will be more comfortable in his surroundings, will put up similar if not better numbers than Tejada, and will steal 20-30 bags, which in my opinion is the difference maker.

Thankyou, but we already have said that I should go with Vlad if hes there. The thing Im trying to decide is whether to go with Tejada or Arod if Vlad isn't there.

A-Rod over Tejada.
Want a reason? Look at the #'s and the lineup protection. 'Nuff said.

I was just at the website
http://www.rotochamps.com and here are their projections for 2005.
Arod - .290 avg 116 runs 39 homers 109 rbi's 26 sbs
Tejada - .313 avg 104 runs 39 homers 136 rbi's 5 sbs
Does this change anything by any chance. But I guess the numbers favor Arod?
