How many teams in the league? It looks like quite a deep league, looking at your hitting.

For your 6, I'd probably keep:

Ichiro
C. Jones
Schilling
Hudson

and then 2 of

Matsui, Lee, Isringhausen & Wright, depending on whether or not you think there will be a better 1B to draft than Lee, or a better RP than Isringhausen, etc.

Good luck! ;-D

Thanks Chris8. I was pretty close to the same assumptions. There were two others players on my questionable. Sosa and Wells. Do think they are either not worth saving or available in later rounds.

This league is expanding from 10 teams to 12.

Depends how knowledgeable the rest of the league are, really.

Personally, I'm not high on Sosa at all this year, but I know that's not a universally held opinion. If he does go to the draft, I would expect someone to grab him higher than he ought to go. (It may be worth holding on to him to try and trade for a younger hitter :-? )

As for Wells, there's no doubt he'll get the run support, but I think there's a lot of better pitchers out there. On my cheat sheet, I have him ranked below several of your other pitchers, including those I've mentioned, plus Pavano & Marquis.

Of course, all this is just my opinion, and I'm sure there are plenty who will disagree!

Thaks for the input.
None of these guys are clients of yours that might not make it through the season are they?

Kage812004,

Are you expecting something surprising in KC. I noticed Affeldt on your list. He's never been someone I thought about as a top six player for keeps. Can you give me some insight?

1. Ichiro
2. Chipper
3. Schilling
4. Hudson
5. Matsui
6. Isringhausen

I would keep the above, and my reasoning for Isringhausen is for the idea of having a good closer to build on, and hopefully he puts up better numbers than last year (even tho they werent all that bad), but it looks lik eyou had a solid squad to begin with, how did you do in ur league?

i have him inthe bottom 4 like u asked, not top 6, im personally targeting him in the keeper draft im in now but not till the late rounds if hes there, hes young, he might be good for a keeper and i like what ive heard about him. he defonitly wouldnt be in my top 6 out of your list.

check out my post and give me some insite on my draft so far
