How close am I?

OK, I was bored and it's been really quiet down here. Anyway, how close am I here on these lineups? I realize there are 26 players listed, but I figure with Morris out for the start of the year -- presumably -- and Luna spending more time in Memphis, things would even out. I know there was some talk about possibly putting Eck at 2B if a better SS was found, but I doubt Grudz would qualify as a significant upgrade. The leadoff spot is also Ecks to lose isn't it?

Looks right to me just take out the blank RP spot and you have 25. King is the primary LR and Tavarez is the primary SU IMO. They have to carry another MI on the bench whether it be Luna, Hart or Nunez. So I don't know about Luna starting in AAA. Xstein is the SS and leadoff man. If Morris can't start the season I would guess Journell comes up as a RP and they go with 4 SP for the 1st month. After that either Morris is back, Ankiel steps in or you bring someone up from AAA.

walt and tony said ankiel is the leading candidate to start if morris is unable to. morris may be in the pen initially. also, they think lincoln may be available by opening day as another bullpen arm.

right now luna is probably the leading option to be the backup middle infielder. they said they would like someone who can bat lefty but i dont know that they will find one. i would like to see luna get more regular at bats in the minors. guys in the minors like seabol will be given a shot during ST but seabol can only play 3b/2b so he is a long shot. we need someone who can also backup ss. hart is an option. nunez is called a switch hitter but he cant really hit from either side of the plate.

I think Ankiel will start in place of morris at the beginning of the season. As a matter of fact, I hope Ankiel starts the WHOLE season and Morris is a reliever or doesn't pitch at all.

we had also quitly signed inf backup Abraham Nunez from PIT last season. I think he may be in Luna's spot so Luna can play everyday in Memphis.

You also need your backup C - Einer Diaz; and your other bullpen spots could be Mike Lincoln or Carmen Cali (L).

The lineup sound correct. Or it's at least what I've been hearing.
