Any Chance Bobby Kielty Becomes A Viable OF option this year

I'm looking at his numbers so far and they look pretty good. He showed some ability last year with Minnesota as well, so this may not be a fluke. Also, Gardenhire has lately been inserting him in the 3 hole. What's your thoughts on Kielty?

It's very hard to turn your head away from what he's done so far. From Mohr, Cuddyer, LeCroy, and probably others I'm forgetting, he sure has set himself apart and earned his spot in their everyday lineup. It will be interesting to see how he does.

I'm a relocated Twins fan. I don't think he will settle into a regular OF rotation. He can drive the ball well, probably more valuable in your line-up playing at home, but gauging his daily playing time and his favorable matchups is probably more than I'd want to invest for the return.

I had and used Kevin Millar, who is very productive, but will leave you short in games played like Kielty. I had to cut him loose over Payton to nab Berkman off waivers. ;-D buh-bye waiver priority. :-t

Kielty may be worht having for short periods of time to fill in for injury, or slumpers, but is not a long term solution to anybody's OF situation.
