gnr should knock out rhcp. IMO, it shouldn't even be a contest.

I don't understand the infatuation with GNR. They weren't that talented to begin with, the lead singer sucks, and they had only a couple of albums.
I'm back. Sorta.

Do not boo Johnny.

It's not a matter of GNR being that great, it's a matter of RHCP being that bad.

Even so, GNR taking down U2, Alice In Chains, heck even the Pixies is down right perverse.

I think they should have stopped at U2, but that's just me.

Well after just over a month's worth of polls we have now wittled down the field of 64 to just two bands.

Well it looks like Nirvana won. Thanks to everyone that participated and made the BMRB a great success!
;-D

OK I got some flack for not including the B-Boys in the tourney. But when it came down to it they just didn't fit in to the competition totally. If I did it again I'd probably allow solo artists to help strengthen the field (Beck, Ben Harper, Lenny Kravitz to name a few).

I have ideas for future battles though I must say I'm gonna enjoy the break for a while. ;-)

Until then thanks for playing and check out my Wild Card Matchup that I tossed up as a fun bonus.
