The final group of Round 2 matches are coming right up...

Add NIN to the list as they edge out Foo Fighters 16-15.

OK so aside from one match currently in OT, the BMRB has blazed right through the second round and its really starting to get interesting. I'll set up the first matches of the Sweet 16 tomorrow. To give you guys a little preview here's the upcoming matches this week.

Monday, February 28
Nirvana vs. Jane's Addiction
Pantera vs. Rage Against the Machine
Metallica vs. Phish
Sublime vs. Pearl Jam

Wednesday, March 2
Radiohead vs. Nine Inch Nails
Red Hot Chili Peppers vs. Stone Temple Pilots
U2 vs. Green Day
Smashing Pumpkins vs. Guns N' Roses

Should be some good faceoffs in there.

Well, the first half of the Elite 8 looks pretty solid. Lets see who'll join them as 8 more bands duke it out!

Which one of these doesn't belong? (Singing the tune...)

A couple of these bands really don't belong, to be honest. U2? U2? They have a guitarist with the gall to call himself "The Edge."

Metallica? Good Lord. Who is voting for the guys who brought down Napster?

If there is any justice in the world, it'll come down to Radiohead and Nirvana.
