Will he definately be making the move to 2b? I haven't been following him closely at all and am not sure if this is a sure thing or more of an experiment.

I don't think its set in stone, but barring a surprise AZ deal, I think he'll have the job. Hairston doesn't look ready to be an everyday player and, IMO Cintron has more upside than Kata.
Bluto: Over? Did you say over? NOTHING is over until WE decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? HELL, NO!
Otter: Germans?
Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.

Just be careful if you're counting on him getting a lot of PT. Arizona signed superstuds Royce Clayton at SS and Craig Counsell, most likely for 2B. I believe they are making more $ than Cintron, so I bet Cintron gets a decent amount of at-bats, but in a utility role.

I wouldnt be counting on drafting him. I have also heard rumours that he would be in a package going to Oakland with Valverde for Eric Byrnes. This still doesn't make any sense to me.

Figured I would bring back an old thread rather than post a new one. From what we know now with Clayton and Counsell where does he fit into ARZ plans this year?
