2nd year Money Keeper League looking for new owners

This is the second year of our 15 team keeper league. Currently 2 owners do not plan on returning due to other commitments. If you are interested in joining a large keeper, please email me at mailto:beermancommish@hotmail.com for complete details.

Here is the basic structure:
15 team League
6 keepers per team - a player can only be kept for a max of 3 years on the same team before re-entering the draft
Cost: $100: $80 for prizes, $10 for website fee, $10 for deposit for next year's team.
Top 4 teams win prizes - All prize money is paid out in full
Minor League Rosters: You are allowed to have a 10 players on a seperate minor league roster. System is a little complicated, so please email me for details.

It is a 5x5 Roto League run ONLINE through CBS Sportsline.

With 15 teams, this was the payouts last year.

$1200 total prize money
1st: 46% = $552
2nd: 27% = $324
3rd: 17% = $204
4th: 10% = $120

We use CBS Sportsline to run the league.

You are allowed to set your line-up daily. There are an unlimited number of trades, but only 2 free agent pick-ups per week are allowed. There are no transaction fees.

There are 18 Active Players: 1 for each position except 4 OFers. 1 DH, 4 SP and 4 RP. There are also 8 reserves/bench spots that can be used as you wish.

There is a minor league system. You can have 10 players in the minors and your minor league roster can not be added to through out the year. The minor league system is a little complicated, but I think works great for fantasy purposes. If the rest above sounds fine, then let me know if you're interested in the minro league system.

and the way it sounds but I am dropping out of a league that only allows two free agent pickups a week. I just like to make unlimited moves. It is your second year, you provide for daily moves..have you thought about that rule..........let me know

we are going to keep the rule as is for now. Our intent is to increase the role strategy and proper planning plays rather the brute force of making several tens of moves per week.

This evens the field for everyone as far as time committments, and helps out the person who really knows the game and plays the strategy correctly.

One of the good points you make is that in the unlimited moves league it seems the advantage goes to the guy who sits home on the computer all day or who at work always has access to one. If you are out in the field, and dont get to check for six or eight hours, the next thing you know your rightfielder got hurt and four teams have already claimed every potential backup and minor leaguer that could take his slotl......
