We need one more owner - DRAFTING NOW!

We've just started the draft and one of our owners has mysteriously disappeared. We need someone who could take over the team immediately. It's your pick!

We have a great, dedicated, very active 15-team league--with both major and (5-player) minor league rosters--now going into its second year. Several cafe regulars are members, including Raiders Umpire and Ensanimal. We keep 7 players each year (up from 6 this year, from here on out it will be 6 regular, and 1 rookie, keepers). Activity goes year round, and we draft in early January.

So we're now looking for one super-active owner to join us. I've promised the league I won't hold up the draft much longer, so if someone can't step in this morning and pick, I'm going to have to just freeze the players for the year, which I'd really hate to do.

The team that you'd inherit includes the following keepers... Carlos Delgado, Ben Sheets, Nomar Garciaparra, Roy Halladay, Javy Lopez, and (late round keeper) Jeff Weaver. And you get the 6th pick in the draft. We're waiting on your pick right now.

There is a small, $10 fee per team, with all money going to prizes for the winners ($100 for the winner, $40 for second, and money back for third).

as fantasma stated this is a great league...very active owners and we need to fill asap.... there is about 4 or 5 guys in the league that frequent the cafe often, so come on guys email gabriel or pm me ........
