Both great bands. Led Zep has the bigger legacy as rock legends, but Van Halen (with DLR) was as good a rock act as I ever had the pleasure to see perform live.
I vote VH just on personal preference. I'm cool with either of these bands moving on to the next round.

van halen isn't really classic rock
despite the fact they're a glorified coverband, i'm gonna easily give the nod to led zep. regardless of the controversy, they rock
