It sure won't take long to discuss all of the Royals off season acquisitions! Would love to have at least one more big bat on the club. I don't think it's gonna happen, Baird isn't about to sell the farm for that one player. Wouldn't it be fun to get Magglio?

At least this year we won't end the year crushed after high preseason expectations.

I wouldn't mind seeing what Oakland would want for Byrnes.

I don't want to see us just sign someone just for the sake of signing somene, which I don't think they will do. I'd like to see where we are this year with our young guys and evaluate our young guys for at least the first half of the season and go from there.

I'm excited about this season, not because I think the W-L record will be anything to brag about, but I want to see Buck for a full year and how our young SP come along and if Berroa can have a bounce back season, and if one of our young 2B can contribute, etc etc etc.

I can't wait til opening day.

God Bless you KC fans - its not easy rooting for your team when their outlook isnt that great - trust me I know.

Just be faithful and never ever jump ship - one day you will be seen as the true fans when the Royals are battling it out in the ALDS.
