I have jury duty tomorrow too...this is my first time ever so i'm hoping its not gonna be that bad....any suggestions???
I've been tossed from jury duty twice.
The first time because they asked me if I knew the defendant, or had any prejudice against him. He was sitting at a table with a headset on. After they asked me the question, I asked what the headset was for (He was hispanic, so I already had an idea what it was for). They told me it was hooked up to a translator. Surprised

, I asked if he could speak and understand English and when they said "No", I told them that anyone in this country should be able to speak, read, and understand English. They told me to have a nice day.
The second time, we were in the courtroom and divided up into 3 groups. One of the lawyers came up and asked the group on the left if they agreed with the following:
"According to the law, if you come home and someone is robbing you, your responsibility is to go to the nearest phone and call the police. Does anyone disagree?"
No one in the first group disagreed. He asked the same to the middle group and no one disagreed. He came to our group and I raised my hand and said I disagreed. He asked me to stand up, so I did. He asked why I disagreed and I told him that it was my home. My property. If I come home and someone is robbing me, then that person is at my disposal. I can shoot, stab, kill, or whatever I want to do to that person. It's my property he's on and my possessions he's trying to steal.
The lawyer had a bewildered look on his face and asked me what would happen if I tried to shoot the burglar and I missed and the bullet went through the window and into my neighbor's house and killed an infant. I replied that I would be arrested and in court with a murder charge hanging over me.
He was totally stunned. Before he could say anything else, 4 or 5 guys stood up and said they agreed with me. The judge called the lawyer over and they dismissed those of us who were standing.
That's my two jury duty visits.

Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
