I like some parts of your team, but to be honest, I don't think it'll cut it in a ten-teamer. I think you could do better at catcher, 2B, CI, MI, and your last two OF spots. The Unit is nice, but the bottom of your rotation is practically nonexistent. Concurrently, Cordero is a good closer, but the rest of your bullpen is full of question marks. I don't mean to sound harsh, but to compete in a ten-team league, you've some work to do yet.
I would have to disagree... your offense is good all around. Mauer is a stud Catcher and if healthy could be top 5 catcher in the league. Roberts isnt bad at 2B either. But I will have to say that other than randy johnson and burnett much of a pitching staff... Benson, arroyo and escobar are better suited as #5,6,7 pitchers in a ten team league. I would suggest you trade JD Drew for pitching help. Other than that you should be ok .
Thanks very much for the feedback, guys. It was helpful. As the title of this thread suggests, that's a mock draft team (from a 15-team draft full of AIs, i'll confess,) so I'm not panicking just yet. But if everyone really thinks Escobar and Arroyo are just filler, I'm looking forward to snagging them late. They's No. 2 or 3 starters pitching for good teams, I feel.

I don't think Escobar is filler, but if it were a ten-team league, you don't have the SP depth. You have three good starters, and one of them is still a question mark. Arroyo could be decent, but that's a risk you shouldn't have to take at #4 in a ten-team league.
In roto leagues smaller than twelve teams, draft starting pitchers as hard as you can in the middle rounds. Twenty five homer hitters will be a dime a dozen in the late rounds, but SPs who can win you fifteen games with a decent WHIP will be few and far between.
My advice for larger leagues is of course different.

I totally agree pedantic. I not sure that your team would win a 15 team mixed league
