Does anyone think he will start the season at 1B? What are the chances of ARZ moving Shea Hillinbrand?

Not good, if Tracy even has a remote chance of starting, he'd have to make the move to RF .... because Shea is starting at first and Glaus at third.

This was a comment I saw back in Dec. My concern is that Shea is still in Arizona and I wonder who would play 1st Shea or Chad

After the Troy Glaus signing was announced, Diamondbacks GM Joe Garagiola called Tracy to tell him that he'll remain in Arizona's starting lineup, likely at first base, the East Valley Tribune reports. Tracy could also wind up in right field, depending on what other free agent signings the D-Backs make, but first base seems more likely, and it looks as if Arizona will try to trade Shea Hillenbrand.

I had read that when the D-Backs were counting on signing Green, they were planning to trade Hillenbrand to Toronto for a pitching prospect. When the Green trade blew apart, they said Hillenbrand would be their 1B.

If the Green trade is brought back to life, and it looks like Podesta is desperate to do that, I would think it would re-open the 'Backs to trade Hillenbrand.
