prior held it down, and he got 4 rbi. damn. i like the way he never shows any signs of joy.. .even his team photos have a smug expression on his face. the kid's all business.
The single brightest pitching star in the league. I think it is just pathetic that the Twins felt they couldn't sign him and he went #2 to the Cubbies.
Then again, the Twins would probably 'Santana' him in the bullpen for eternity.

You know, next time that Prior pitches in Denver I'm still going to sit him. The risks are greater than the rewards. I'm happy that he did so well, but there is no chance I'm putting him in while he's pitching in the thin air of Colorado. Remember how good Hampton was in his first few starts in Colorado? That ended up not working out so well. I'll put him in the rest of the time, of course, but I stand by my logic. No way, no how am I pitching Prior in Denver.

Okay, now who's starting Chacon tonight? I know I am, there isn't even a question about it. Sure, the Cubs have shown the offense this year, but they also got shutdown by the Padres. And anyway, pitching against Shawn Estes, Chacon is almost assured of the win, even if his ERA and WHIP explode.
my arm hurts.....it must be from patting myself on the back (ha!).
Nice job Marky Mark and the Prior Bunch.
You may remember him as Joe the Policeman from the "What's Goin' Down?" episode of That's My Momma! Please welcome, Jackson Heights' own, Mr. Randy Watson! Sexual Chocolate!!!
