let's just say IF he stays healthy he could compete for the lead in SBs. I predict a .290-8-90-60-40 season for him with upwards of 50+ sbs if he stays healthy.

Something to keep in mind is that Reyes has a new training program (again) and he has put it through the test during winter ball. He's remained healthy, is experiencing no problems and is doing very well.

I'll agree with trevisc. You could see Reyes last year that he has some incredible potential. However, he appears to lack that fire that the upper echelon have. He appears to be afraid to, or lack the will to, play through nagging injuries. If you can get him in the later rounds of a draft or have a solid backup behind him, his upside is great.

I think you're pretty much gonna hear the same story from everyone - IF healthy, 40-50 sb.

What is another good question, other than his health, is can he hit well enough to maybe get in the top of the lineup? If so, he could get those 90 R. I assume he'd get less steals if he batted, say 8th, with a pitcher hitting behind him and just plain less plate appearances.

Have been thinking the same thing. That worries me as much as the injury potential.
