I really thought he'd break out against the hapless Tigers. I know it's only a matter of time ... but any good player should be feasting on that team, no matter how big of a slump they're in.

I am also a tejada victim. It doesn't bother me that much because it looks like the whole oakland team is doing worse against the tigers than I thought they would last night they only put up 1 run.

That's comforting :D.

He still should have hit more against the Tigers. They're barely a Major League team.

tejada won't have as good a season has he did last year. i think he had his career last year, and should be like .280/25-30/100-115 this season, maybe worse. i think he's pressing because he wants to go nuts knowing that it's a contract year..

i think chavez is the better hitter and will prove to be just htat over hte next 3 years. heck, i'd rather have durazo right now... if miggy struggles, maybe chavez goes up to the 3 hole and ruby to the 4th spot.

I couldn't take it anymore q

Postby illini_ram » Fri Apr 25, 2003 6:10 pm

I get impatient with guys like that. Last year, I gave 2 bigtime players to get him. It took alot to get him. This year I was elated to have him on one team, but after this early slump, and having a hot Gonzalez (Fla) on my team, I traded him for Clemons straight up. I may be kicking myself later, but I needed pitching real bad so I hopped on it.

Hang in there though, I think he'll come around. I just hope not enough to make me regret trading him.....hahahaha. Sorry.

I have sat on Jeter this whole time on the DL, I don't know why I couldn't just take the same attitude with Tejada.

Oh well,,,,,,,,,the fun of fantasy baseball.

I make more moves than a midnight hoochy momma.
