Angels insiders... a question.

Is Robb Quinlan worth drafting?

Meaning, does he have a job? Or is Figgins the guy at third?

Don't even bother with Quinlan ... he's stuck behind McPherson and Figgins at third, and behind Erstad at first.

Don't bother drafting Quinlan, McPherson will get the bulk of the starts at 3B and Figgins is at 2B while Kennedy is injured. Expect Quinlan to play DH as well, but right now he's going to split time there with Kotchman, Morales, Rivera, Davanon, etc. It's a wait and see kind of thing... hopefully atleast one of them will blossom this year and really turn out to be great. I think the Angels offseason isn't over yet, look for them to make a deal for a starting pitcher still.

Quinlan is a good player, but McPherson has been given the starting 3B job (against right-handers), unless something drastic happens. BUT the DH position for the Angels has yet to be decided, because there are so many candidates...but expect a huge DH platoon. Quinlan will probably play 3B against LHP, and will get several starts at DH. With that said, I don't think it's worth drafting him, unless it's a really deep league.
