Who are you taking at #5?

Postby cannonarm21 » Thu Jan 06, 2005 12:24 pm

It appears that the overall concensus on the top 4 picks is Pujols, ARod, Beltran and Guerrero. (In no specific order)

If that's the case, who would you take at #5? A few guys that come to mind for me are Santana,R.Johnson and Tejada. I feel that #5 is too early for any of them. What are your thoughts?

Right now I'm thinking Helton but that might change before draft day.

Probably Helton 5, Tejada 6.

in a yearly redraft, i'd consider RJ at 5 as well. Personally I'd probably go Tejada, Helton, then RJ, but all three are reasonable IMO.

(Soriano's slump scares me a bit, he's still the top 2nd baseman, but others are catching up)

that's a tough pick this year, but i'd probably go with tejada over helton simply because of position......

I would go with Tejada or Helton, depending on what position you would like to solidify. And, why are people suggesting taking RJ over Santana? Santana is younger, doesnt have a bum knee, and could get better 8-o .
