This list is better than the one the was posted a while ago.
Anyone else amazed at how far Rickie Weeks has fallen?
I don't know that he has fallen too much, honestly. He tore up the fall league after a disappointing debut in the minors. A year in which a lot of young guys really put on a show and rocketed up the charts.
I think his drop has as much to do with the genuine strength in the minors right now as it has to do with his debut. At 22, he hit for some power (mostly doubles) and stole some bases at double A. That's not bad, but since people were expecting the next Pujols they were disappointed.
If it makes you feel any better, he hit .382 with 6 home runs, 5 doubles, and 6 stolen bases in 76 at bats in the AFL.
