You may be right. Last I read he was still going to play catcher, but I haven't been keeping that close an eye on it. Moving him to 1B and getting a defensive minded catcher would cetainly help the defense.

I'm pretty torn on this situation.

1) Because I have Carlos in a keeper league and want him NOWHERE near Shea or the Mets.

But at the same time

1) If he's a Met he can't be a Yankee :-D

2) I read on a Buster Olney chat that if the Mets get Beltran, they have really no shot at Delgado, and Boston might be able to get him.
