Understand the active player list. Are there bench players too or jsut the active ones listed?

Also are we getting underway tonight, Thursday 13th?

This isn't an actual league just a good way to see how an actual draft may go for you- help find some sleepers, and also maybe show some players you should stay away from. I hope especially when we get closer to the end, people will share their reasons for the pick :-?

for example 3 years ago after Pavano was traded to the Marlins, I happened to catch his last 3 starts, and although his final stats didn't show it his stuff looked very good, so I took a flier on him in 2003 draft and he pitched pretty well, then a great postseason moved him up enough that I made the smart move of trading him for Matt Morris and that typifies my 2004 season.

Understand and definitely will be interested in opinions and strategies after the fact. I run 2 leagues right now and it is always good to stay up on various strategies as much as possible.

I assume we are starting tonight via email. I would also hope that at least the first round or 2 should go pretty fast (i.e. not 8 hours per pick).

Sorry about the delay. I just sent out the introductory email. Sean Casey is up. How would everyone feel about using this thread for commentary? Or should we request our own forum? Threads seem handier than email for discussion purposes...
