Nick Swisher will be a non-factor player this year.

Javy should hit .280-30-70-80

Jose Lopez could be considered a sleeper. In limited time last yr he didnt show much, but he will be the Ms starting SS coming out of ST this yr. Depending on where he is in that lineup he could see a decent spike in production. Definitely someone to keep an eye on.

I really don't expect much out of either this year. I think the M's are rushing Lopez a bit and Swisher won't be a good fantasy player.

I project both players will be among those who I will list as being drafted too high in the pre-season Mock Drafts.

No go on Swisher however? I thought he'd be decent after looking at his AAA numbers (29 HR's & 92 RBI's in 443 AB's) and knowing he did this with a torn thumb ligamnet. Granted he did this in the PCL but those are still nice numbers.

Seeing that Dye wasn't resigned in lieu of Swisher makes me think he'll play all year and get some ok numbers.

billy beane is a genius, Swisher for MVP!!!!

;-7 seriously, he could have an ok year. 20 HR 75 rbi is not out of reach. I wont take him on any teams, but he could be a decent injury fill in later in the year

With less pressure in the Seattle line-up he could do OK and I think Swisher will put up solid numbers 270-20-75-80-15

I have never seen Swisher play so I'm asking what makes you think he will steal 15 bases? He only had 9 SB in over 1000 minor league AB and Oakland isn't known for giving the green light.
