I like to use a Tier system when ranking baseball players prior to my drafts... here is an early attempt:

2 and 3 aren't much different. I'd say the way you have it, #2 is better BA while #3 is better power. (in general). I'd just lump thme together b/c the C position doesn't have enough variation to make 4 meaningful tiers.

Yep... I noticed that too, and I stocked the second Tier with those who I thought had a higher ceiling for 2004.

More Tiers... First Base, listing expected starters and DHs worth drafting who may qualify at first base or at some sort of "Utility Infielder" position where you play. Each player is listed in no particular order under each tier.

Notes: I will have Adam Dunn listed in the outfield
I have Travis Hafner here by above rule
I have Piazza and C. Wilson here (what the heck)
I will have Aubrey Huff at third base
I will have Ryan Klesko in the outfield
I will have Pedro Feliz somewhere else
