I hear alot about the perceived effect of steroids on certain players and how they may perform now that there is testing. Who are the players most likely effected?? I can think of a few....are there others? Obviously this issue is opinions. but it's something to think about.

Well we don't know which players are on steroids. There are ones that might as well admit to using "flaxseed oil", such as Bret Boone, but I'm sure there are lots who aren't on roids that many think are, and vice versa.

I don't think any research should be put into it; predicting the players who were on steroids and will come off them this year is hard enough to do, let alone predicting what players will have adverse effects of coming off of them.

Just draft normally and if you get a guy like Giambi whose body falls apart from head to toe, that's a shame but it's hard to avoid it without also missing out on other players who don't fall apart but you thought were risky as Giambi was this past draft season.

From what I've heard Thome is a dumb country boy who isn't an big weights guy and never even bothered himself with a protein shake.

I don't think it will have much effect at all, everyone who was on roids more than likely quit last year when they started testing.
