a couple of "experts" picked him as a surprise player this year, and so far so good- anyone have any insights on Mr. Berroa?

Berroa in my opinion is more of a defensive SS than an offensive SS. He had some speed but has not got on base enough in situations to use it to steal a base.

Yeah any offense from him should be considered Gravy. Defense will be his game.

Hopefully Berroa can stay healthy and become more disciplined at the plate - that would be huge for KC.
