I actually have Hudson ahead of the other two. Is there a single person who agrees with me?

Same here. I'm expecting a Cy Young caliber year from Hudson in ATL, but Prior could easily beat him out if healthy.

Now my rationale...

Postby GreenMonsterGoon » Sun Jan 02, 2005 10:53 pm

Here's the rationale:

1. Hudson plays for a better team and is more likely to get more wins.

2. Hudson has significantly less injury risk

3. 2004 Statistics

Hudson: 188 ip, 12wins, 103k's, 3.53 era, 1.26whip

Prior: 118 ip, 6 wins, 139 k's, 4.02 era, 1.35whip

Hudson better in 4/5 categories

If Halladay is fully recovered, then I have it Prior-Halladay-Hudson.

I just love Halladay as a dominating pitcher, I think he's better than Hudson.

BUT- I dont think he's fully recovered.

so,

Prior
Hudson
Halladay

Forget the man crush. I drop what I'm doing to watch Zack Greinke pitch.
