RFK used to be a pretty decent pitchers park last time the Senators were there. I haven't seen any announcements on if the configuration will change though.

there was a thread about this a couple of months ago and people were saying that it would be a pitcher friendly park. cuz it's a football stadium i guess you can compare with pro player stadium down in florida. but we only know when the dimensions come out. back in the 60's they were 335 down left and right, 410 to center, and 385 to the gaps.

Too bad the Nationals dont have any pitchers ;-7
Fantasy sports are ruled by the 50-50-90 rule...

Anytime you have a 50/50 choice between two players, 90% of the time, you'll get it wrong

Yeah, it was at RFK but it used a different field configuration than how the normal stadium is set-up. He was hit it off of Warren Spahn in the Oldtimers game.

I doubt it. RFK is huge so there will be a lot of foul ground unless they add a ton of seats.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
