I'd been reading that he was doing pretty well in the winter league. His K/BB and other ratios were much better than expected. This really sucks.

Yeah he was doing decent in the dominacan ... hopefully it just needs rest. I would really like to see this kid make it all the way back. Not a doubt in my mind (pun) that he can do it.

it is common for pitchers coming back from TJ to have elbow soreness from time to time. i hope it isnt serious. reports right now say he should be fine for ST. he had one more scheduled start after the elbow soreness and the cards supposedly sent him home early for precautionary reasons and because of the holidays.

in case you didnt already know he had the elbow looked at and no problems were found. he was cleared to resume throwing. some suggested he merely left the dominican early because he was homesick. cards are saying he is the probably 5th starter should morris not be ready to pitch immediately.
