stltoday.com is reporting the the deal for Alomar isn't done but the Cards are interested. I'm still hoping the Cards can trade for Harriston or sign Cora to a reasonable contract.

When you have Walker, Edmonds, Rolen, Pujols, Sanders, I think they can handle having Eckstein leading off & Alomar in the 7 hole.

I think there biggest concern will be the staff (with Carpenter and Morris as question marks). They still don't have that 1 dominant hard-throwing starter to lead them in the postseason.
