2005 Non-keeper, big things? no things? some things? anything?

Last I read was that he would begin the year in Triple A, but I would not be surprised if he is an early call up. I think last year he broke his hand and was out a few months, otherwise I think he would be this years starter. Easily the best catching prospect. Could put up decent numbers right away. imo

I have Kendall so its not like im in need of a catcher but if he has the potential to be a future stud (top 3-4) I'd be very interested.

At very best a backup for 2005.

I'd take a veteran (or V.Martinez or Mauer) before him.

He will be given every opportunity to win the full time spot but I'm expecting nothing offensively from him this year. Not draft-worthy.

there's one thing still to be decided: if gregg zaun will resign or not. he says he wants a 2-year deal, but i don't think the jays will give him that, so there's a possibility he won't be back with the jays next year. now with kevin cash gone, if zaun doesn't resign, quiroz will prolly be the backup for greg myers and we all know myers is not that young anymore :-b

i've read his swing is a josh phelps type of swing. :-?

mr phelps was awesome when he was called up to the big leagues in 2002. if quiroz can post the same type of number phelps posted that year he's definetly worth picking up.

only draft quiroz if your league is deeeeeeeeeep ;-D
