I think a lot of people are high on his potential rookie of the year status.

Guy has zero plate discipline right now and I'd say he will start in AA and maybe make his debut next season.

I don't think he'll do much at the major league level this year, in a limited time at AA he hit .197 and had no BB and 14 K's. That doesn't tell me he's ready to play in the majors yet. I won't deny his potential but it's a few years away IMO.

definitely 07 ROY candidate..hit well at single A in perhaps the toughest minor league hitting park..dismiss his brief intro to AA he is only 20 yo and not ready for that level

Agree, though I think he'll be in Atlanta by 2006 - they have no RF or LF now, and no other options in the minors. I think he starts in AA and if all goes well (which I don't think happens), he "could" get a call-up in August, ala D. Wright last year.

He needs to work on plate discipline, to be sure, but was pretty good in the AFL, and I've read too many reports on his abilities that if he doesn't make it, it will shock a lot of scouts.

i agree here....he will probably be in the bigs in 07, maybe end of 06 for a month or two...i dont see any way he is ready this year.....
