Really not too excited about seeing Alomar joining my Cardinals (Oh that's right, I own them.) I believe the Cards are trying to pull another Tony Womack, sign a veteran on the downswing and hope to catch him turning it around. If Alomar posts a .340 OBP and plays defense I think Cards fans will be happy.
Only downside is the clubhouse factor. I'm not completely sure the Card's clubhouse is a blissful one (Don't think it really matters, and no fans truly know the state of their teams clubhouse), but hopefully this deal turns out well.
