I just traded for him in a keeper league as a backup and since then the guys has made claims that he traded him because rivas wont be a starter this season. Does anyone here know while this guy is claiming this at this point before the season, cause as far as i can see he is their only reasonable choice since they lost guzman and koskie and have to replace each of them first.
Let's play two!

As long as you plan on him beginning as a backup, I see no harm in it.

Only way he doesn't start is if Cuddyer plays 2B and Tiffee plays 3B. I think Rivas will start, but at this point what I or anyone else thinks doesn't matter ;-D

I agree. Plan on him being a backup player if you need him but I don't think you can count on him everyday.

I think he will see plenty of playing time but like others have said I don't think I would want him starting on my fantasy team.
