Huh. Apparently Nick Swisher's mom is a member of the cafe.

(This was said when the count was 13-1 in favor of Reed. Now that it's 15-2, it makes less sense.)

Reed is a fairly speedy guy, though his SBs haven't been that great. The good thing about him, is that his K/BB rate is superb, so he'd be an ideal leadoff hitter (if it wasn't for Ichiro). Great hitter for average with amazing plate discipline. He'll score runs near the top. If you can live with low power numbers, then he's fine. The speed has been surprisingly low so far.
He's also great defensively, although that's academic in fantasy.

Swisher is a typical Moneyball player. High OBP, lower average (relatively), 20s-homer power...nothing too spectacular.
