Bit of a problem

I am in a 16 team H2H 8x8 Keeper League. We keep 5.

Categories are:

H, Avg, OPS, Steals, Runs, RBI, HR, Fielding %

W, L, Saves, K, CG, WHIP, ERA, K/BB

Anyway, I think I have managed to outsmart myself, by making too many deals, and trying to get too many "next potential stud" type players while picking up some extra draft picks (mind you....16 team league with 5 keepers.... the draft starts at player 81).

Anyway, What I have left right now is as follows....and looking at it..... I might be in a rebuilding year.

Keeper Worthy players:

Hitters
A-rod
Hafner
D. Wright
Crawford
Rowand (wasn't planning on making a play for him, but was offered a GREAT deal)
Furcal (questionable at best)

Pitchers (this might be painful...hide the children)
A.J. Burnett
Josh Beckett
Wade Miller
G. Mota (hey, he's a closer, and some of the guys in this league have a seriously weird man-crush on closers)

Hafner only qualifies as a DH next year, so my UTIL spot is filled with him....but A-rod and Wright are both 3b.......

So, I can try to trade one of them, or trade Hafner (no one is interested thus far).

I have a couple offers on the table, and I have mainly been shopping A-rod, since he is by far my best player, and would bring the most in return. Wright is UNBELIEVABLY undervalued in with the folks in the league (I was offerred a 7th round pick for him.... and that's the best of the 3 offers I have gotten for him)

Anyway...How would YOU proceed?

That aside, keep ARod, Hafner, Crawford, Furcal and Beckett

If you can only keep 5 I wouldn't deal A-Rod. He and Crawford are the one to keep.
Right now I have your keepers as

Try some 2 for 1 deals for an upgrade.

Last year it was Shut Outs and Errors.... This is actually an improvement

Anybody but A-Rod and Crawford. Just stick two players together and see who bites. You have some good talent, problem is that it is spread out among 10 players. Try to consolidate it into 5.

The difference here is that you can actually keep you better players instead of letting them go when they got too expensive.

In fantasy keeper leagues, I always want the younger of two players if the talent is about the same.

I know some of the people in the league also check out this site a lot.....

as soon as I mentioned trading A-rod here, i got offered Mulder and Sexon......

I am assuming that a a big phat NO on everyone's part?
