According to ESPN Insider, Johnson told teammates in Arizona a deal with the Yankees is done. There are supposedly two scenarios involving Vazquez and Johnson, with the difference being which prospects and the amount of money Arizona would receive.
Since its pretty inevitable (I hate to see Vazquez go) I certainly hope that the trade is scenario A in the article: "Javier Vazquez and Brad Halsey, and prospects Abel Gomez and Melky Cabrera to the D-Backs in exchange for Johnson. They'd also throw in about $12 million to offset the difference between Johnson's $16 million salary and the $35.5 million remaining on Vazquez's contract."
As opposed to giving up Vazquez, Duncan and Navarro.

Not true. The Yankees have tons of great prospects, they're just not playing in the minors right now...............they're on other MLB rosters. They'll be "called up" to the big team, when they're contracts expire.

Sad, but true.
On another note, ESPN.com was stating that the Yankees believe RJ gave Arizona an end-of-year deadline for trading him, or he'd reject all deals after that (such that he'd walk away after 2005 with them getting only a couple of picks). If true, he's done an even better job of ruining any leverage they might have had in trading him.
