Good question. Having followed Pedro a lot mose closely the past year (being from Boston, plus I didn't own Prior last year) I can say I am nervous about taking him high this year because of uncertrainty with his pitching shoulder, which a lot of people feel is moving ever-closer to needing surgery.
I understand Prior started last season off hurt, but assuming he's 100% now (is he?) and factoring how much younger he is, I'd take him far earlier than Pedro in the 05 draft.
Edit -- you added Kerry Wood to the equation while I was typing above. Wood's another guy who I hadn't been following, so I'll disqualify myself from this debate.

I'd have to go with Prior if he's healthy. The boy has the mechanics to be a monster and could very well equal or out do Pedro in the Ks department. Since Pedro is in NY I think the wins will be lacking. I think Wood is the bottom feeder out of the 3.
