Joe Mays...

Postby yanksareback2 » Mon Dec 27, 2004 5:54 pm

In his first and only full season as a starter in 2001 he had a 3.16 era and won 17 gms. The next two seasons he pitched hurt and had Tommy John Surgery this past year. He is supposed to be ready to pitch this season. What do you guys think about Mays bouncing back and pitching well again?

I have always been high on mays. If he is healthy I would expect 15 wins with a 3-3.15 era 150k.

Joe Mays projected for 15 wins?

Wade Miller projected for 15 wins?

Did we step in to some alternate dimension back to 2001? 8-o

wow..that's a name I havn't heard in a long time. It'll be interesting to see how his elbow responds. There are so many pitchers that i'd take before him but i'd probably be willing to give him a start or two on my team to see how he does.
