Good ole redneck rock. Didn't like Neil Young, he didn't like them back. Ronnie VanZant died in a plane crash in 1977 that sadly ended the band prematurely.

Van Halen (original lineup) is one of my all-time faves. DLR is a great front man, Eddie is amazing, and the albums put out by the original 4-some are some of the great rock albums of all time.

Skynard is a very good band, but VH beats them on the original lineup alone.

BTW, Van Hagar was worth of a few decent tunes, but lacked the wildness and originality of those first, early VH albums wth Diamond Dave in front.

I cant think of Lynard Skynard without remembering that scene from Con-Air with steve buscimi finding it ironic that they were listening to Sweet Home Alabama on a plane. So, I guess them. I like them more than Van Halen also.
