Giles has been a favorite of mine for a while now. Granted, I'm a Braves fan, but Giles is a quality sleeper in my opinion. What is the opinion here on whether or not he can keep up his hot pace?

I doubt he can keep up this very hot pace he's at right now, but I have to agree he is a pretty good sleeper. He won't hit 20 homers or 80 rbi's, but he could be a solid contributer.

I wouldn't be so sure he can't go over 20 HRs this season after this start. He seems pretty solid last night, and players his age can improve regardless of previous years. After last night's show I dropped Guzman at my MI position and picked him up. He seems to have gotten his brother's power over the winter.

He has finally gotten his defense together which has given him job security and let him relax. Last year he had an ankle injury and a terrible personal trajedy which heald him back as well. His minor league stats were very good and suggest that even 25 HR isn't out of the question.

Do you think Giles will produce better numbers than Roberto Alomar?

That's a tough one. Definitely get more HRs and probably runs. Kind of a crap shoot there.

Alomar used to be good. Marcus Giles is good! I'm sure he can keep up the pace! Remeber his rookie season? He played something like 60 games or less and still blasted 9 or so HR. This kid's for real. Don't be suprised if he starts hitting like his brother!
