So lets assume he is on the opening day roster for the Yanks. Where do you rank him in your 1b pool? Where do you see him going in most leagues?

I do not have him high at all. He has to prove himself to me first. Either way he is a huge gamble. The highest I would rank him would be around 15th. As far as draft position, anywhere from rounds 12-14.

The only way he should start for you is if your league has 16 teams or more.

as of now i'd say somewhere in the top 125 or so. With 1B being so thick with talent there should be no reason to have him on your roster.

I do and I agree. I am hoping that he slips to the 10th and I would take the chance as long as the reports are good.

Of course Giambi is worth taking a flier on just in case he returns to form but 10th is too high IMO. I wouldn't take him until the final rounds of the draft where the risk would be minimal. I guess it depends on what you think the odds are of him returning healthy and being able to perform under increased pressure. I don't think the chances are very good.

Giambi might still do decent at least... look at Bonds.. he's off the roids and he's still doing great. I think Giambi will have these stats
