..if, much like the A-Rod saga played out last year, Boston swooped in stole RJ from the Yankees?

I'M NOT SAYING IT WILL HAPPEN but come on, that's got to be funny right? Just like the Sox thought they had A-Rod in the bag last year, only to lose him to their sworn enemy.

And before anyone says RJ will only waive his clause to go to the Yankees and this could never happen, I have yet to see anything that proves he's said that on the record.

Short of seeing the Sox win the WS, I don't know of anything else that would send George through the roof more.

Again, not saying it will happen in the least, just thought it'd make for some extremely interesting discussion if it did go down.

If that happened, then wouldnt the Yankees have to win the world series this year? I dont think Red Sox fans should wish for anything to happen thats the reverse of last year.

I think if that ever happened the servers running this message board would totally melt down.

However, I think there's a better chance of me winning the lottery AND getting hit by lightening on the same day - than of Randy ending up in Fenway.

I would find it ironic if after all the talks and trade attempts, RJ stays with Arizona and ends up on the DL for the year in his first outing

lol
