Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

He caught fire after the ASB last season but the thing that impressed me most about him were his 27 2B in 324 AB, guy is a really solid line-drive/gap power hitter. Without the platoon he could put up numbers similar to Overbay's production in 2004 I reckon, but with a few more HR's.
I really agree with that-he gets a lot of comparisons to Olerud in his prime, which would be nice.
Jake Westbrook is kind of interesting to me post 20th round.

Rumor is that Biggio might move back to 2B, but I haven't heard anything on that in a few weeks.

Nice call on Cap. You don't hear is name mentioned around here much. He will never be a number one starter but he could be solid number four or five for any fantasy team
byung hyun kim if he is healthy and gets traded. maybe he becomes the closer for a team like milwaukee. maybe he becomes a solid starter. who knows. IF he is pitching above 90mph again then he should be pretty solid wherever he goes.
Have you heard anything about Kim or are you just saying that IF he returns to his pre-Red Sox days he could be good. There is no question he had talent and he's young but from everything I've read he's done.
