A report out of the Dominican Republic states that the Giants and Moises Alou have agreed to a two-year, $13.6 million contract.

I really hope this is true because as a Met fan I definetly don't want him. Hopefully now we can sign Maggs and Delgado and I'll be more than happy.

Is Alou signs the Giant's starting OF in 2005 will be 38, 39 and 40 years old!
Never in the history of baseball has a championship team had such an old outfield. The Giants have absolutely no vision for the future. In 2006 this team will hit rock bottom. Their minor league system has produced ZERO quality position players in the 13 years...
