I read that he may move to 2b this year now that Boone stopped working on his jump shot. What kind of value do you see for Blake if hes playing at 2b and not 3b?
I would say his numbers put him up there for a legitimate sleeper pick.

IF he can come close to last year's numbers, he would be a fine fantasy 2b pick. That is a big if though as I am not convinced Blake was not a fluke last season. At 3b, given its new found depth this year, I do not think his value is anywhere near as significant obviously.
And A. "Swing and a Miss" Boone could end up at 2b also...or on the bench after going .175 for the first 2 months. He has not played since 03 and was never what you called a consistent hitter to start with. If he gets off to a slow start, the Tribe may lose patience with him.

it's also been written that he may be moved to the outfield. The Tribe FO really like Blakes play and make up and will find a spot for him

He made alot of noise last year (HR: 28, AVG: 271, RBI:88), so he wouldnt be a sleeper again. Does he fall in the 5-10 or 10-15 rounds?
I suspect he'll start getting drafted around the 8th-10th round in a 12 team league.

He'll be another middle of the road corner outfielder.

Blake will take over Lawton's spot in the line-up. The tribe signed Belliard to a two year deal so Blake will be eligible in the outfield and at third.

Barring a wave of injuries, Blake will be the Tribe's RF, he will not play 2B. Blake may play some 1st and 3rd, but no 2B. The Tribe is going with Belliard then Jose Hernandez then Brandon Phillips and then Blake maybe at 2B. Blake should be eligible for 1B and 3B at the start of the year and soon pick up OF eligibility.
