any smart manager wouldn't take this guy too early.. if you think he can bounce back, then try to snag him a little later, but if you take him too early you might be paying a heavy price for that blister.. those things are a bitch for a couple years before they finally go away ...
Just curious here. Last year in my 5x5 12 team drafts Beckett was gone in the 6th-7th round. What is the earliest that you'd pick him in that type of league?
Personally, I don't think I'd take him before the 9th.
Bluto: Over? Did you say over? NOTHING is over until WE decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? HELL, NO!
Otter: Germans?
Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.

It's really hard to tell until you get started on the draft. I have said before that I wouldn't take a player before this or that round but things change on the fly.
I got burned by him last year, too - was my 1st SP taken (3rd round).
I heard all that garbage about pickle juice and whatnot, and just kept thinking about growing up on my parents' horse farm. Half your life is spent shovelling you-know-what from the stalls. All the Marlins have to do is send panty-waist Beckett to Dad's farm for two weeks before the season and Boom!, problem solved. Of course, that would entail some actual physical labor on Josh's part, not just keeping a hand in a packle jar while playing Nintendo.
