I don't have my projections open right now, but I remember projecting a career-best season for Joshy.....All he has to do to solve the blister problems is talk to Jorge Posada and Moises Alou's personal trainer. ;-)

once those calouses build up he'll be ready to go. We all know what he's capable of it's just whether or not his fingers will cooperate.

i would not say bounce back because he has never been good except for 3 games in the playoffs 2 years ago...but i think he will have a good year ,,16 wins, 200+ k's

Ive always seen Beckett as one of the very best young arms in the game today, and if he solves his blister issues he could really take off. It wouldnt suprise me if he finished in the top 15 SPs this season - easily. He was on many many radars way before the WS heroics - and was mentioned in the same breath as Prior when they were in the minors. Sleep on him if you want, but right now his price tag is pretty low because of the injuries.

I picked him with great expectations last year. I wont be burned by him again.

hmm.. I thought he had a good 2nd half last year. His walks to K ratio looked really good for the season and he gave up fewer hits per inning over the previous year.

I'll be taking a chance on him this year and maybe it'll be during a later round since some of you think he's a bust

whenever i think of jbeckett, i am reminded of a great lucinda williams song "real live bleeding fingers and broken guitar strings"..this year josh goes for $24 in our 13 team NL only league (last year he went for $28)

that seems like fair value for possibly a top 10 SP in a NL only league.

our league has 5 pitching cats and only 4 hitting cats so K pitchers go for a lil bit more than usual and u r very perceptive (he was one of the first SP to be bid on)
