Josh Beckett?...Bounce back?...or bust?

Postby bryan1327 » Wed Dec 22, 2004 12:23 am

What type of things are you all expecting from Beckett this season..?? More time on the injury list...(damn blisters!!)...Or do you expect the WS player that all expected in the beginning of last season?..

Any thoughts?..

Thanks..

Maybe I'll be the only one to say it but:

He aint bounced back before he wont bounce back again. This kid's got too much potential but I think he's cursed to be injured. Too bad. AJ Burnett- a much better bet. ;-D

Forget the man crush. I drop what I'm doing to watch Zack Greinke pitch.

To bouncg back doesn't that necessitate him actually having been good at one point? He has never stayed healthy.

I had high hopes for him last year and he couldnt overcome the blister problems I dont see why he can now unless they come up with some cure for it.

I got burned with Beckett in one league myself. I heard all the pickle juice and other ointments/treatments stuff they were spewing the past couple of years. Should have known better than to chance him.

I hope everyone in my league feels this way about him so I can snag him and ride that golden arm all the way to the title! Bounce back, in a big way. :)
Bah, humbug.
