There really isn't going to be much news on him very soon. All the teams are waiting until he will finally work out for them, which according to him will be sometime in January. The last I heard was that he still can't jump (this was from a few weeks ago though)

I really hope Maggs comes back to his normal self...I wasted my first round pick on him last year over Manny in hopes he would pull a Javy Lopez or Beltre and have a break out year in his contract year. Didn't happen, but now I just hope he just plays this year :-t

I don't think he's signed because he hasn't conducted a workout for anyone yet. I wouldn't sign a guy without putting him through a physical. Hopefully his value will be driven down and he'll sign a contract with the Bravos

Maggs to Atlanta

They have holes, he fit in perfectly there.....why not?

Although remember Theo was ready to trade Nomar for him last year. Could a Nixon deal to upgrade prospects deal be in order and then add Maggs to Dwight Evans' old stomping grounds be on tap next.
D-Mat, Schilling, Beckett, and Papelbon - Wow!

Braves, we just laugh at those injury prone tags. Id swear if a star left hander loses his arm in a car crash Shuerholtz would make some inquiries.
